Supremex Inc. recently announced the appointment of Robert B. Johnston as chair of the board, as well as the nomination of Stewart Emerson, president and CEO of Supremex Inc., and Warren J. White as directors of the company.
These changes result from the resignation of George Armoyan, Michael Rapps and Charles Pellerin, following the sale of all of the common shares of Supremex held by Clarke Inc. at the end of November.
Johnston has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance and currently serves as executive vice president and chief strategy officer for The InterTech Group, Inc. in South Carolina. He has been a member of the board of directors of Supremex since May of 2014 and an affiliate of The InterTech Group, Inc. is the largest shareholder of Supremex.
Emerson is president and chief executive officer of Supremex since September 2014. He has held a number of senior management positions with the organization since starting his career at Supremex in 1990.
White has held many senior leadership roles for large international manufacturing organizations with responsibilities in information technology, finance, procurement and strategic planning. Before becoming an independent consultant, White was Senior vice president, global business engineering at CGI until 2012 and vice president, information technology and global procurement at Alcan Aluminum until 2003.
