Four first year students were awarded $1,000 each through the COPA Scholarship Fund for the 2017-2018 academic year. Students submitted applications from across Canada and were selected from a random draw after meeting the required criteria.
The scholarships were distributed across Canada: one each in the east and west coasts and two in central Canada.
Congratulations to this year’s scholarship recipients:
Amanda R. Gray from Surrey, BC is attending Simon Fraser University and hopes to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree. Amanda’s father, John Gray, works for Staples Business Advantage.
Gabriel Jodhan from Aurora, ON is attending York University to obtain a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. Gabriel’s father, Ramesh Jodhan, works for BIC Inc.
Catherine Gaudreau from Laval, QC is attending University of Montreal to obtain a Bachelor in Preschool and Primary Education. Catherine’s mother, Johanne Beaulieu, works for Novexco.
Rachael Iseman from Vaughan, ON is attending Queen’s University in the General Science program to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree. Rachel’s mother, Caroline Iseman, works for Grand & Toy.
