Changing EDI Providers is Easier than You Think
- Send an e-mail to Brian Miles containing any information on your current EDI provider relationship, an estimate of typical monthly volumes and confirm your current COPA membership. The volume information required is the average monthly volume of Kilo Characters or the number of documents handled. This information is shown on your current invoices
- Brian will work with you to ensure that your savings are met
- Choose a switchover date
- Commport will communicate with your trading partners
- A letter on your letterhead is sent to your trading partners and their EDI providers notifying them of the date. (Commport has templates or you may draft your own)
- Commport works with you on connecting to the Commport Network (using your desired protocol)
- Commport performs the switch and monitors to ensure a seamless transition
